After seeing how Carrie interprets and manages her surroundings, our team has pushed her into sharing her insights, advice, personal journey, sustainability tips, life hacks, travels, etc. with her network. It took a bit of convincing but we did it. Below is a blog Carrie journals in. We invite you follow along. We announce each new journal entry on our facebook page. – Love, Team MAYO

Part 1: Sept 2019 – March 2020

I traveled across the country in a Chevy Road Trek Van for 5 ½ months. My home-on-wheels has a total living space of 96 sq. feet. Although that may seem small to some, it is amazingly comfortable and has all the amenities I am accustomed to. I have an indoor and outdoor shower, a 2 burner stove, a sink with running water, a toilet that flushes, a generator for backup power, a refrigerator, an AC, a solar-powered back-up battery pack, seats that swivel and convert into a “living room” and a TON of storage. All posts below with the “earth” in the right corner are journal entries from my road trip. I learned, explored, concurred, & met so many great people along the way.

Part 2: March 2020 – current

I’m back in the Northeast! It’s time to start a new journey… I’m now building an off-the-grid home on a plot of land, expanding our sustainability efforts, growing MAYO Designs, and continuing to contribute to the community I live in. All posts below with the “superhero” emblem are journal entries in Part 2 of my journey.

We will share new blog posts on facebook. CLICK HERE to receive updates via email.
