Well, we did it again on September 23, 2019.
The MAYO Designs team put together another successful beach clean up with the York, Maine community. Similar to the clean up in April 2019, we were joined by a network of businesses, friends and 129 members of the 8th grade class from York Middle School.
Who would’ve guessed, with the amount of trash we collected, that Surfrider’s team did a beach clean up nearly 48 hours before us. It’s eyeopening how fast the trash continues to pile up.
In addition to our cleaning up efforts, we spelled out “No Planet B” with all 200+ participants. As you can guess by our website URL, our why is “Because there’s no planet B, rescue this one and keep it clean.”
We appreciate everyone’s help in collecting trash along the roads, beaches and neighborhoods. Let’s continue to unleash our sustainable mindset and spread awareness.
