I am having mixed emotions about being here because I am NOT a city girl… so while here, I have actually decided to spoil myself… I’ve checked into a hotel room downtown while I attend a marketing conference and I parked my van at a family member’s house until Sunday.
It certainly feels strange to be in a hotel after having lived on the road for the past 25 days!

Ultimately I’m here for a marketing summit… and during this event, I intend to immerse myself in this opportunity and soak up knowledge from the best in the industry so that we can bring our mindset of sustainability into our marketing in a BIG way. This event is structured to connect with peers, mentors and industry superstars to share insights, feedback, and support each other to achieve success by applying new tactics to effective marketing and to my client’s strategies.
While here I have done a little research on Denver… and I’m inspired by the fact that this city is certainly emerging as a model for sustainability! I’m currently organizing the information I’ve learned about Denver’s environmental commitment for the next blog entry… stay tuned!
